It's a contest...

So, Bethany and myself just had an argument. That's right. We couldn't decide who was best. I said everyone liked me way more than her, and when I move to Canada, everyone will want to be with me and not with her. She said that everyone liked her more, which is clearly not true, because she's so rubbish.
There's only one way to solve this problem. Post a comment and tell us who you like the best. Then we'll add up the votes. Problem solved.

This is a bad game. I disagree with what you are doing to your relationship, and to the people influenced by your relationship. What you are doing is divisive, and counter productive and I am sickened by it.

That being said, I gotta go with Mark, as he is clearly better than Bethany by a great great margin.

Well, I like myself the best.

However..., both of you can rest assured that you are equally cool from my point of view.

I vote Mr. Tandy. Bethany's cool and all, but she can't spin a record worth toppins!

Don't hate me, I'm just the messenger.

Peace, Ben

Oh man. This is nuts. I mean I thought you guys were staying in England, or at least those were the plans. Maybe they are. I don't know. I'm just under the impression that Beth likes England more than Mark likes Canada. Which according to the "Matthew Neugebauer Logic Calculator" (you know Ben, the one that doesn't have to make sense but whose only purpose is to provide me with endless hours of fun) makes sense 'cause more people like England than they like Canada.

Scratch that-more people living outside of England love England than people living outside of Canada love Canada. So therefore, Beth's sentiments must be stronger because they are reinforced my the mass wave of people living outside of England who love England. And the masses rule.

On the other hand, there is certainly a power in being among the few, the sore thumbs, the non-conformists who go against the grain. Having a sentiment so different from many others adds power to it, strength to it, so that it may rise up and overcome the masses, fulfilling it's destiny by divine or evolutionary right.

And I'm off the deep-end. Woohooooooo!!!!!

my vote: toss-up

Matthew, I'm afraid you're wrong. I love Canada far more than Bethany loves England. Here's the statistics: Bethany has been to England 5 times. I have been to Canada 9 times. You work it out...

Mark, I gotta question your logic too man. In the last 20 years Canada has been voted the "Best Country in the World to Emmigrate to" nine times. England: zero times. It seems people outside of Canada AND England tend to like Canada more.

(voted by the United Nations, not just a bunch of quacks.)

oh god, there's a quote for you

"United Nations: Not just a bucnh of Quacks!"

What's wrong with me today? It was MATT's logic was questioning, not Mark's. Sorry Mark, you are indeed a logical man...7 times out of 10.

what a RIDICULOUS argument to have. Why has nobody commented on how stupid and self centred your argument is?! Geesh! I mean, Mark...clearly you are the ring leader of the whole thing...I can picture it now...

Bethany, sitting on a couch, reading a book on British Linguistics. Mark, looking into the eyes of his reflection off the mirror wall he has in his room.

Mark looks to Bethany and says "Why, I am the most attractive, brilliant, intelligent human in all the world!"
Bethany shrugs and mumbles something about egotistical sob's.
Mark translates Bethany's lack of enthusiasm as a challange.
Bethany continues to read.
Mark jumps on computer...and...we end up here.

THERE IS NO COMPETITION HERE. Bethany is self-less, and therefore more christ like.

my vote goes to my bestest.
i will pray for you mark...sigh...

but...

i must trust Bethany's judgement. She would never date a loser...no...even though her heart desperatly reaches towards those 'in need'. No. She would not settle. She would only go for the best of the best of the best. So, if she went for Mark...then he must be the best. So perhaps I vote for mark?!

yes, that one required it's own comment. Hypothetical situation: I make a joke, and everyone sees it as the joke that it is...hmmm.

Fascinating.

still a toss-up for me.
