pencil sketches...

Ladies and Gentlemen, if I can please draw your attention to the list of links to other blogs that can be found towards the bottom of my sidebar. There you will find blogs of all sorts; the latest addition to which is this one. I won't give away the blogger's highly secret identity (for americans, this is sarcasm), but I will suggest that you read his site on a regular basis. Highly entertaining...

-This is most definitely not J.

Good to see that a real musician has become part of the Salvator Darlings. Good times.

Shout out to Simon Davy.

What's a sarcasm?

Alright, blogger sucks, and it won't let me sign in. For your information, this is mark, the Salivator... Sarah, I can only assume that you are american, as you have not only asked what sarcasm is, but have incorrectly referred to it in the singular, when it is in fact a concept. Sarcasm is a form of wit where a technique is employed, usually claiming the opposite of what the speaker (or writer) intends. It is fully intentional, and for some reason Americans don't understand how this works. For example: 'oh, that was really funny.' when the meaning is 'that wasn't funny at all'. Sarcasm can also be far more complex and witty than this, for more information, watch 'Blackadder', which is very, very funny.

Mark, thanks for dumdin' it down for me.I am but a cluless California girl who happens to love sarcasm, and can only aspire to be like the English(in their humor that is.) My comment was meant to be sarcastic, but alas...I have failed. Ah well. You also don't know me...but I'm friends with the Toronto crew and I've see you before(don't mean to freak you out!)when you came into the upper office to visit Linda Ninja Cho. You and that other DJ with the blond hair. Anyway, all that info was so you don't think I'm a random girl who came across your blog. Bye!

aha. So it seems the great english master of sarcasm can't spot a sarcastic comment. My apologies. Of course, it was a particularly obvious sarcastic comment wasn't it? I mean, anybody could have spotted That...

Ahem. Fine. You're the king of sarcasm and I am not. Maybe you could teach American unpriveleged children to follow in your sarcastic, dry witted ways. I'd probably come to your class and sit in the front row! Yeah!
